The Healthiness metric is a measure of how well a schedule's shift assignments meet the Healthiness requirements defined by HCA..
Healthiness exceptions occur due to the following scenarios:
Overtime |
More than 5 Consecutive Work Days (5 10-Hr Days) |
More than 5 Consecutive 8's (8-Hr Days) |
More than 4 Consecutive 10's (10-Hr Days) |
More than 3 Consecutive 12's (12-Hr Days) |
Rotating Shifts |
More than 12 Hrs in 24 Hrs |
The Healthiness Unit Score is calculated by dividing the Total # of Occurrences by the Total # of Scheduled Slots.
Where:
Scheduled Slots = the number of cells on the schedule with an assigned shift code
