Cancellation Reasons: Disable / Delete

Users: Access to this feature is limited to users assigned the PI Labor Corporate Administrator role and Cancellation Reasons - Configure permission.

Cancellation categories and reasons are managed from the Admin > Cancellation Reasons screen. When a category or reason is deleted or disabled, it will be immediately removed from selection lists used when cancelling scheduled assignments.

Delete Cancellation Category or Reason

The Delete icon displays only when a cancellation category or reason has NOT been used when cancelling a scheduled assignment.

When a category or reason is deleted, it is immediately removed from both the cancel assignment selection list AND Cancels Report filters.

 

To delete a Cancellation Category or Reason:

  1.  In the main navigation bar, click Admin > Cancellation Reasons.
  2. On the Cancellation Reason screen, locate the category or reason you wish to delete.
  3. Click the Delete icon.

  1. A warning message displays. Click Yes, Proceed to delete the category or reason.

 

Disable a Cancellation Category or Reason

When a category or reason is disabled it will no longer be available for selection when cancelling an assignment, but will continue to display as a filter and reporting option when running the Cancels Report.

To disable a Cancellation Category or Reason:

  1. On the Cancellation Reason screen, locate the category or reason you wish to disable.
  2. Click the checkbox in the Disabled column.
  3. Click Save.

 

Likewise, to re-enable a category or reason, deselect the Disabled check box and save the change.
